Life can sometimes feel like a heavy weight, full of moments that confuse, overwhelm, or leave us feeling stuck. It’s natural to want someone to listen without judgement, to have a space where your feelings and experiences matter just as they are.

That’s what I offer, a calm, compassionate presence to walk alongside you through whatever you’re facing.

Couples Counselling in Ross-on-Wye & Online

Relationships can be deeply rewarding, but they can also be challenging. Couples may face difficulties in communication, trust, or managing life changes. Sometimes past experiences, trauma, or emotional patterns affect how partners relate to each other.

I offer couples counselling in Ross-on-Wye, providing both face-to-face counselling and online sessions, in a safe, supportive, and neutral space where both partners feel heard.

When Couples Counselling May Help

Couples counselling provides a structured, confidential space to explore these challenges, improve understanding, and strengthen the connection between partners.

Couples seek counselling for a wide range of reasons, including:

Trauma-Informed Couples Counselling

Sometimes difficulties in a relationship are influenced by past experiences or trauma. My approach is trauma-informed, recognising how individual experiences can impact communication, trust, and emotional safety.

In counselling, I help couples develop a shared understanding of these influences while building skills to communicate effectively and reconnect.

My Approach to Couples Counselling

I work integratively, with a strong person-centred foundation, meaning both partners are treated with respect and empathy. Counselling is collaborative, with a focus on creating a safe space where both individuals can speak openly and feel heard.

Sessions may include:

  • Exploring patterns of communication and conflict

  • Identifying underlying emotions and needs

  • Building coping strategies and emotional regulation

  • Reconnecting with shared goals and values

  • Strengthening intimacy and trust

Face-to-Face and Online Couples Counselling

I offer face-to-face sessions in Ross-on-Wye, providing a neutral, welcoming space for couples to meet.
I also offer online couples counselling, which can be convenient for busy schedules or for couples who prefer the comfort of their own home.

Both options provide the same level of professional support, confidentiality, and guidance.

Experience and Professional Care

I have over 15 years’ experience in mental health, I have worked with individuals and couples facing a wide range of relational and emotional challenges. I am an Accredited Member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and bring both professional expertise and genuine care to every session.
