Life can sometimes feel like a heavy weight, full of moments that confuse, overwhelm, or leave us feeling stuck. It’s natural to want someone to listen without judgement, to have a space where your feelings and experiences matter just as they are.
That’s what I offer, a calm, compassionate presence to walk alongside you through whatever you’re facing.
I’m Roz, a qualified and experienced counsellor offering counselling in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, for children, young people, and adults. I provide both face-to-face counselling and online counselling, offering a calm, compassionate space where you can explore what’s going on for you at a pace that feels right.
If you’re experiencing emotional difficulties, feeling overwhelmed by life challenges, or carrying the impact of past experiences, you don’t have to face it alone.
People come to counselling for many different reasons. You may be feeling anxious, low, stuck, or unsure of yourself. You might be navigating a difficult life transition, relationship struggles, or the longer-term effects of trauma.
I work with a wide range of issues, including:
My work is integrative, with a strong person-centred foundation. This means that you are at the centre of our work together. I believe healing happens within a trusting, supportive relationship where you feel safe enough to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
I work gently and collaboratively, particularly when supporting people who have experienced trauma. There is no pressure to talk about anything before you’re ready. Together, we will move at a pace that feels manageable and respectful of your needs.
Clients often describe me as calm, patient, and easy to talk to, qualities I believe are essential in creating a therapeutic space where meaningful change can begin.
